Pest Control Insulation in Naples, FL

Pest Control Insulation built for Naples homes

Naples saw roughly 60 percent of its housing stock constructed between 1960 and 1989, with the 1970s accounting for the largest share of that growth. Attics in homes of that era accumulate decades of settled or damaged insulation, and the flat fill land underlying much of the city, laid over buried muck and poorly drained sand, means moisture works its way upward through wall cavities and into attic spaces. Naples averages about 50 inches of rain annually, concentrated from June through September, and that sustained humidity encourages silverfish and other insects to move toward warm, undisturbed attic environments. Because Southwest Florida experiences almost no true cold season, pest pressure in attics continues with barely a pause through January. Pest Control Insulation addresses both the thermal and pest management gap in a single ongoing program suited to Naples conditions.
